Computer systems these days are amazingly reliable, but they do fail. Hard drives stop working. Without a backup, your data could be lost. Check your backup system regularly, or have us do it. We use both local backups that are quick for restores and cloud solutions that get your data off site, with iterative copies of files made as they change, and plenty of time to restore if you accidentally delete something important.
